User Interface and User Experience Design For Web-Based Software and Social Media: No matter how much time and labor your company invests in the design and development of its Web application, the true value comes when a user understands and engages with the experience they see before their eyes. User Research, User Testing and Usability Analysis: The best insights into the user experience emerge from direct interaction with real-world users. We offer a wide range of user testing and usability services, specializing in moderated in-person and remote testing and heuristic walkthroughs. We also have a portable usability lab solution (comprised of MORAE software, a laptop, and a Webcam) that allows us to instantly set up an in-person test environment at your company or at the offices of your customers. Information Architecture and UX Strategy: A UX strategy provides the framework for successful information architecture by answering key questions:What are the drivers of their decision-making process? What are their mental models? From there, we can create an information architecture that allows users to easily navigate your Web site or Web-based application. Our range of deliverables include wireframes, flow documents, rapid prototypes, user personas, content strategy, and more.
Creative Direction: Great creative reaches users at both a logical and an emotional level in the form of big ideas artfully communicated. Providing creative leadership requires the ability to manage and to inspire, seeing both the whole and its parts. I've been able to help many clients build their brand through smart user experiences. I can also help assemble a great team culled from years of working in the Boston design arena.

Ideation and Brainstorming Sessions: My background in technology, design, and marketing allows me to bring a cross-disciplinary perspective into the room and find shared ground between stakeholders. I use ideation techniques drawn from the fields of applied creativity, innovation, and collaborative design.. I use real-time mapping, visualization, and digital white-boarding tools (including mind-maps, card-sorts, and other strategies) to help bring great ideas to the surface where the team can best put them to use.
Onsite Usability and User Experience Workshops: Drawing on my experience as a college educator, I offer onsite workshops on usability, user experience, information architecture and other subjects related to Web design and development. These workshops can help enhance the skills of your in-house team and help infuse your Web development efforts with a user-focused perspective.
